Born and raised in London, Zainab Balogun, 26, (October 10, 1989) is a is a Nigerian actress, model, and television presenter, whose physical beauty is matched by her creative mind and her ability to rise to any occasion.
Scouted by Premier Models Management at the age of 16, Zainab proceeded into a successful modeling career.
She has been featured in both national and international campaigns, with the likes of United Colours of Benetton (UK), Purple Aura Jewels (USA), and Isklar Water (Norway), just to name a few.
With London and New York Fashion Weeks regularly under her belt, she blossomed in the fast-paced fashion world.
With strong values on education, Zainab managed to juggle it all, finally graduating with a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB), from University of Kent in Medway.
On set, her humility and professionalism have always endeared, coupled with her knack for networking, and it’s easy to see how she was soon offered other media related positions.
Not content with just being in front of the camera, Zainab co-founded “The J-ist TV show”, an online entertainment web-series.

She doesn’t only feature as a presenter on the channel, but also produces shows like, “EL Now”; a daily entertainment news show for what’s cool, black, and happening in fashion, music, arts, and more.
She’s also joined by 2 co-hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and Lamide Akintobi, on “The SpOT”; an original daily talk show with a unique hang-out style and format.
Not your average girl, her natural transition into the acting world began as she started to book work as an extra in both TV and film productions.
The more times spent on sets, the greater her interests grew as she featured in the likes of BBC One’s drama, “Material Girl”, Bollywood movie, “Cocktail”, and “The Charlatons”, by Ashley Walters.
She even found herself on set with legendary director, Christopher Nolan, in 2011, for “The Dark Night Rises”, which she described as an “unforgettable experience”.
Shortly after this, she was back on screen yet again, with a lead role in “The Island”; a brand new TV series by Urban Vision (Nigeria).
Zainab has won several awards, including, TV Presenter of the Year (Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards 2013), TV Presenter of the Year (Sisterhood Awards 2014), On-Air Personality of the Year (All Youth Tush Awards 2014), Sexiest On-Air Personality (Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards 2014), and was also nominated for TV Presenter of the Year (Exquisite Lady of the Year Award (ELOY) 2014).
