Grammy-winning Pop star, Chris Brown, 27, has been arrested for threatening a woman with a gun.
The “New Flame” crooner was taken into police custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after beauty queen, Baylee Curran, told the police he threatened her with a gun.
Ms Curran told LA Times that she and a friend had gone to Brown’s house with a business associate on Monday, August 29, 2016.
She said there was a man selling diamond watches and necklaces near the kitchen area, she admired a diamond cross but didn’t touch or pick it up.
Then there was a dispute, and another man began nudging her toward the door, and telling her she needed to leave.
“And that’s when Chris Brown kind of went off off, pulled out his gun and said, ‘get the f out,'” she told E! in a phone interview.
“He was saying, ‘get the f out.’ Like, ‘haven’t I told you guys enough,’ and he was kind of threatening me with the gun, like he’s gonna shoot me with it if I don’t get out,” she said.
The “Loyal” singer was reported to have come out of his home after a stand-off with police on Tuesday.
Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, tweeted that his client was later freed, adding that the accusations were “demonstrably false”.
Brown was reportedly released on $250,000 bail, according to officials.
During the stand-off, the father of one posted videos online accusing the police of harassment.
“Every three months, y’all come up with something, bro. What is it? What’s going to be next?” he asked, adding: “At the same time, when I call police for stalker people … they don’t come until the next day.”
“When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” he added.
Chris has been a lightning rod for trouble.
His most notable arrest took place in 2009, when he assaulted his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, following a pre-Grammy party.
